Maybe it is just psychological but I honestly believe I can tell the difference between organic beauty products and their more chemically produced counterparts by their scent. In general there is something really pure and earthly in the way organic products smell. And I love it. One well-known organic brand I always come back to is Weleda. Weleda started almost a century ago as a plant-based pharmaceutical laboratory and since then it grew into being the world-leading manufacturer of holistic natural cosmetics that it is today.
During the past month I have used their pomegranate regeneration body lotion and body oil (I usually alternate between oil and creamy substances such a body milk and lotion). My winterskin was definitely very pleased with that! And did I mention the smell? It is gorgeous.
Moreover, what I like about Weleda products is their accessibility. You find them in specialized organic healthshops, but also in mainstreet store chains such as Etos and Holland & Barrett/ De Tuinen. In these shops you can find interesting offers and discounts once in a while, which makes the Weleda product range even more affordable. And that is always good news of course!
