One of Morocco’s best kept secrets is not so secret anymore and that is good news for all the women in the world. I am talking about argan oil – the oil produced from the kernels of the argan tree. Pure argan oil is rare and precious. It has been used for centuries by Moroccan women to hydrate and nourish their skin and hair.
In recent years, more and more cosmetic brands have discovered the numerous benefits of this miracle oil. If you ever happen to go to Morocco, I’d definitely recommend a visit to one of their traditional argan oil farms to discover for yourself how this sought-after beauty ingredient is being extracted from nature.
One of my fav brands has not forgotten where this natural product comes from and chose their name as a tribute to its origin: Moroccan oil.
Recently they have expanded their haircare collection with the Curl Re-Energizing Spray en Curl Cleansing Conditioner, both perfect for my curly head.
Gone is the fuzzines and it gives me the opportunity to be in touch with my roots everyday. Pure argan oil has one small tiny drawback. As a good friend of mine once said: it makes you smell like a peanut. Sorry dear ancestrors, but I have to admit she has a point.
Luckily this is not the case for the Moroccanoil products: their perfumes are gorgeous.
