Long before the concept of sustainability became a trend in fashion, the creators of fashion label Esprit considered ecological and consciousness to be an essential part of their vision. The brand was born in California, in 1968. It started as a love story between Doug Tompkins and Susie Buell, and, still today, the spirit (L’Esprit!!) of Authentic Easy Living shines through in their clothes, their accessories, their stories and their stores.
Upon entering one of the big new Esprit stores in Holland, you’ll see an invitation to enjoy the easy going Californian lifestyle. Spacious, warm and not without comfortable chairs and magazines to leaf through, all of them are one stop shopping paradise for women, men and children’s fashion as well as for home accessories. You can mix and match to create the perfect boho style outfit and at the same time shop for an office look or for your workout and after workout clothes. They even have maternity and baby clothes!
We see that Esprit is becoming more and more all-round without losing their true identity and authenticity and as you know we at Frenchonista really appreciate brands that stay true to themselves and recognisable to their customers.
If we take a look at the Esprit collection, we see that their colours are always either warm and wearable or crisp and clean. For autumn (I know, I know, we don’t want to think about autumn but we simply have to! It’s coming!) we are pleased to see many pieces in the Marsala (that warm reddish colour, you know? The brown amongst the reds?) because it’s a trend colour that really fits the Esprit style.
So go to http//:www.esprit.nl and shop online or, maybe even better, look up one of their big stores and experience the oasis of California Easy Living for yourself!
