TOMS and World Sight Day

Dear Frenchonista’s,

It may not have escaped you that we are TOMS fans. We love their elegance, their simplicity, and also their social awareness. They bring us beauty and quality every time and never forget about the greater good.

In 2006, TOMS founder Blake Mycoskie befriended children in a village in Argentina and saw that they didn’t have adequate shoes to protect their feet. Wanting to help, he created TOMS Shoes, a company that would match every pair of shoes purchased with a pair of new shoes for a child in need.

Now, with World Sight Day (it was on 9 October) TOMS does the same with their gorgeous sunglasses. Each pair of sunglasses bought will help restore vision to people in need!

Samia went to the pop-up photo gallery in the Amsterdam TOMS store on World Sight Day, and the theme of this exhibition was “What does sight mean to you?” Please support TOMS with us and go to their store or check out their gorgeous website/shop (available for many any countries as well, of course).

xoxo Liza Brouwer for Frenchonista
