Vitamin C serums – are they really that good? And which one to buy??

Dear Frenchonista’s,

Vitamin C serums are all the rage, and celebs are swearing by it in many convincing testimonials. So are they really good and what do they do?

This is what some research has told me:

Vitamin C is an excellent anti-oxidant which helps the production of collagen.

Vitamin C helps to lighten and brighten your skin and soften wrinkles

Vitamin C & E together can help to reduce harmful UV rays

Ici Paris introduces a very good serum by Novexpert, a cosmoceutical company (so they offer cosmetic products with biologically active ingredients). Their new line, expert radiance, promises to act on the uniformity, colour and texture of skin, getting rid of dead cells, making your skin immediately softer and without imperfections. I haven’t tried it yet myself but someone in our team has, and it really does give the skin a healthier glow and smaller pores. Also the experience is that after using it, less make-up is required because your face looks naturally better, more uniform. For me this is enough. I will get this product and make it a standard in my morning routine.
